• At Ubuntu login - select 'xmonad' as the window manager
• Mod-Shift-Enter to start

Use dmenu to launch apps.
Run dmenu like this:

• dmenu_run     [in XMonad type mod-p]
• Troubleshooting:
• dmenu can't handle spaces 
• dmenu doesn't understand folders - so symlink to the exact file to be executed
• ln -s  '/usr/local/bin/Sublime Text 2/sublime_text'  /usr/local/bin/sub
